To celebrate 60 years of the Society for Popular Astronomy (SPA), the organistation will be holding a number of special events across the country.
The first (and largest) of these will be held on Saturday 15 June at the Royal Observatory, Edinburgh.
The all-day meeting will include talks from a number of prevelant astronomers and scientists including Dr Duncan Forgan, Dr John Davies, Dr Michele Cirasuolo, Dr Andy Longmore and Dr Alistair Glasse and SPA President Prof. Derek Ward-Thompson.
With talks on a diverse range of subjects, from the hunt for extraterrestrial life to NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope, there’s something for every enthusiast.
Admission is free but you will need a ticket.
